About Me

I believe that we all possess an inherent resilience that, when accessed, allows us to become our most authentic, fearless selves. My years of experience as a yoga instructor and vocalist have given me the gift of helping people utilize both cognitive and bodily processes to create lasting change.

Part of my approach involves helping people gain a deepened awareness about their defence mechanisms while also providing them with strategies to act in ways that are more aligned with their values, goals, and dreams.

I have had the opportunity to train with some of the most renowned and experienced clinicians in the field of trauma, including the best-selling author of The Body Keeps the Score, Bessel Van der Kolk. My passion for learning allows me to bring the most recent, evidence-based strategies to each and every session to ensure that the individuals and couples with whom I work are receiving the highest quality of care.

I integrate elements from multiple therapeutic modalities, including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Somatic Processing.
