Diana is a Registered Psychotherapist who brings nearly 10 years of experience to the Fresh Insight team. She specializes in working with adult individuals and takes a person-centered approach, trauma-informed approach.

About Diana

Diana's experience working with Doctors Without Borders has provided her with the opportunity to support folks from all walks of life with a fierce sense of compassion and empathy. She specializes in providing care for depression, anxiety, self-esteem/identity concerns, relationships, and trauma.

 

With a strong belief in one's ability to create meaningful change in their life, Diana provides guidance and evidence-based support when situations can feel overwhelming or unmanageable. She has helped individuals, families, and couples in building resiliency, eliminating self-limiting patterns, and creating goals to promote wellness using person-centered principles, trauma-informed frameworks, and mindfulness-integrated practices.

 

Diana's approach combines in-depth discussion, skill development, and active application of positive behaviours, while acknowledging the influence of culture and systemic barriers. Diana has received certifications in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy from the University of Toronto.
