I'm a Registered Psychotherapist who brings nearly 10 years of experience to the Fresh Insight team. I specialize in working with adult individuals and take a person-centered approach, trauma-informed approach.
About Me
My experience working with Doctors Without Borders has provided me with the opportunity to support folks from all walks of life with a fierce sense of compassion and empathy. I specialize in providing care for depression, anxiety, self-esteem/identity concerns, relationships, and trauma for folks from the age of 10 and up.
With a strong belief in our ability to create meaningful changes in our lives, I provide guidance and evidence-based support when situations can feel overwhelming or unmanageable. I have helped individuals, families, and couples in building resiliency, eliminating self-limiting patterns, and creating goals to promote wellness. I use person-centered principles, trauma-informed frameworks, and mindfulness-integrated practices.
My approach combines in-depth discussion, skill development, and active application of positive behaviours, while acknowledging the influence of culture and systemic barriers. I have received certifications in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy from the University of Toronto.
