Disordered Eating
Disordered eating refers to a range of eating behaviours that negatively impact one's physical health, emotional well-being, and quality of life. These patterns can include chronic dieting, calorie restriction, binge eating, or having an unhealthy preoccupation with food, weight, or body shape.

While disordered eating exists on a spectrum, the Diagnosis & Statistical Manual of Mental Health Disorders (DSM-5) recognizes anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder as specific eating disorders with well-established diagnostic criteria.
